One of two
Robert Mitchum and Jane Russell made two films together, almost back to back; this one and His kind of woman, both film noirs and both excellent. This one is a little less humourous than His kind of woman because Bob and Jane are not joined by Vincent Price. Instead there is William Bendix as an unexpected Government agent, whom Robert Mitchum is mistaken for, and the under rated Brad Dexter as the villain of the piece. Jane looks and sounds terrific as always and it's no wonder she falls for Bob. Great video.
I always enjoyed both stars so it was great to see them both in this video. Also, the story held my interest throughout. If you like Jane Russell and Robert Mitchum, get this video -- you won't be disappointed.

Fun Film Noir adventure set in the south seas and the heat is definitely on! Chemistry between the the two stars is phenominal in every respect. Good film overall.
