OE-Equivalent fo Subaru EJ25
This is the OEM-equivalent thermostat for most of the Subaru EJ25 series engines. It's the correct 172 degree rated with the jiggle pin. If you don't get the OEM Subaru part, get this one. It includes the gasket. Mine didn't look like the one in the picture, but it's the correct part.

Not sure if Stant changed the design of the 48457 XACTstat but it no longer looks like OEM. It is not what is pictured in the listing. Perhaps it will function like OEM but not worth the risk in my opinion. Next time will be OEM 21200AA072. Perhaps the Gates 34012 would be a better quality option. See pic; original on left.
