The pictures showed that this picture was framed with a black frame but it was received without a frame. When I contacted the seller, their response was that they never said that it came with a frame even though the pictures show it in one. In all fairness, they did tell me that I could return it but I didn't want the hassle. I have many health issues and it's not easy to get to the post office. I did send another message asking for a resolution but it was ignored.

The painting was photographed on a black table that made a background the buyer apparently perceived as a frame. To my eye none of the photographs appear to have a frame around the painting, and in the additional photos the background appears even less frame-like. The buyer was offered the opportunity to return the painting, in spite of my stated no-return policy. Since I do not feel I am at fault in this matter, I was not willing to offer a further “resolution.”
