Wild Wild West Season 1 DVD
All of the shows have been digitally remastered and if they were not in black and white, they look like they could've been made yesterday. Each episode is audio introduced by Robert Conrad there are also some interviews with Robert Conrad, Ross Martin and other members of the cast and crew. The writing, acting and action hold up even to todays standards, this was and remains to this day one of the best TV shows ever produced. One of the only things that I found lacking were some of the menu choices, Such as not being able to view the chapters for selection, you can skip chapters while watching an episode but you cannot go to the menu and select them as you can on other DVD series. This was the only season that was shot in black and white the rest of the remaining seasons were filmed ... This set is inundated with little behind the scenes tidbits voiced by Robert Conrad about the filming of certain scenes and episodes, that I found very interesting and entertaining. You can see in most of the shows presented that the production value was high with lavish sets and well choreagraphed action sequences and the most beutiful woman of the day,and some of the coolest gadgets to be brought to the small screen. Also it was cool to see all of the up and coming stars of that time period or the already established stars that gave this show so much of it's appeal. If your A Wild Wild West fan it is a must have, even if your not it is certainly worth watching.

The start of the classic series
Dr. Loveless from the beginning! The first season of this classic series! All B&W, no color yet here. Anyone who watched this series will love this dvd. This first season starts it all! Many shows that Had forgotten on this first season. Take the time to remember and enjoy. These older shows have a much slower pace than current tv. James West is BACK...
The Wild Wild West, one of the last great network TV show westerns. Season one, which ran from 1965-66, was broadcast in black and white. I must say here that the digital transfers are very pleasing, with nice crisp tones. It is amazing that a 40+ year old TV show could look so good. The set has some great audio commentary by Robert Conrad and others. Some neat bonus features include a Lost Original opening, network promos, photo gallery, and a Ross Martin sketch. You get all 28 first season episodes, complete and uncut. It is housed in a cardboard sleeve with 4 slimline cases holding the dvds. Set has a Dolby digital mono (2.0) soundtrack with closed captioning. Set has great story lines and the James Bond of the west premise. I bought the The Wild Wild West - The First Season (2006) on DVD. I was impressed with the clarity of the picture and the special features it included, like Robert Conrad’s opening statements before each episode. This first season is in black and white because back in the day color TV’s where new, expensive and not everyone had one. It brought back a lot of good memories of when I was a kid watching them on television. I'd recommend this to any fan of The Wild Wild West… It’s an awesome DVD set that deserves a rating of EXCELLENT! The remake movie did not do Justus to this original TV show!I bought the The Wild Wild West - The First Season (2006) on DVD.
