    Design is a compromise.

    I like having a bit holder - obviously - but this holder is made for either 1 regular bit OR 1 quick-change bit holder. It will not hold 2 bits. What with the industry coming out with new (& mostly better) styles of bits and screws like from Slotted to Phillips to Robertson to Torx, I need at least 3-4 styles of bits for those times when I run into every one of those screws, to say nothing about the different sizes within each style. I'm waiting for a DeWALT-compatible bit holder that will hold at least 4 bits, ha. Most of the other brands have bit holders built into the frame and one holds up to 4 bits! You don't have to pay extra for that option, either. I finally bought a DeWALT drill holster which is VERY sturdy and holds lots of bits, Qk-Change bit holders &/or drill bits. The ...

    Correct bit holder for Dewalt tools

    When I bought my Dewalt DCK296M2 Hammer Drill / Impact Driver kit a few years ago, the DCD995 hammer drill included a bit holder. This was very convenient for keeping a new Phillips screwdriver bit handy. Unfortunately, the DCF886 Impact Driver didn't include one. Fast forward to last month, and neither the DCD996 hammer drill nor the DCF887 impact drive in my new DCK299M2 kit included these. I purchased this bit holder set. They are a direct match to my old bit holder and they installed on both tools perfectly. For the price they charge for these tools, these should be included. Since they're not, these are the ones to get.

    Perfect Fit

    Bought a couple Dewalt power tools that had the holes and slots for these bit holders so thought I would add them as they do come in handy. Fit perfect and these came with the screws you need to install also.

    Worked on DCD771

    Works perfect. Comes with screw that also worked perfect on my DCD771 drill. Silly that drills don't come with the bit holder. But it is what it is...
