    Great monitors!

    For the price, these monitors are amazing! These are an amazing choice if you’re starting off recording/mixing music or just want some good monitors for listening to music. I was particularly surprise by how good the bass frequencies sounded. Of course, I’m not a professional sound engineer, so my opinion might not be the most validated. If you want even more bass, I recommend getting an extra subwoofer. But to my ears, the bass was full and had enough body to it. I also played around with several guitar amp sims including Overloud, Scuffham, and Blue Cat Axiom, and they all sounded great coming from the monitors! I plan to record and mix music using these monitors.

    Excellent sound, small footprint.

    I'm teaching (music) remotely due to the pandemic, and NEEDED a pair of speakers to attach to my chromebook. I've never had luck with "computer speakers" because they are too expensive for the low quality they provide. Thus, I wanted actual powered monitors, and I'm a huge fan of JBL already. Well, these speakers sound great. Music brings joy, and even more joy when heard through quality speakers. I've been listening to some of my all time favorite albums, but hearing new details because these speakers are so awesome!!!

    JBL to the rescue! Great quality and value. A perfect solution for my needs at this time.

    JBL created a great product that fills a common need. Well appointed with I/O. Coaxial speaker design is best for near field speakers, yet there are few made this way. JBL is named after the guy who created the first near field speakers back in the 30s. I have become a huge fan of this company.

    Fantastic compact speakers!

    These have a pretty surprising soundstage and unbelievable low end to be so small. Lots of detail, great for gaming but even better for music. In my recording room, I have their big brothers, jbl lsr305 which are louder but the 104s give them a real run for their money. A very pleasant surprise. I highly recommend the JBL One Series, 104s.

    Good speakers for the money

    I was using the speakers that came with the computer, but I couldn't hear the bass lines, which can making writing chord charts difficult. The JBLs have decent bass output and a nice clear top end. I purchased a USB sound card with software that has an EQ and that took the speakers to another level. These speakers are not very expensive and the sound is quite good. I would buy them again if I had to do it over.
