For the first time in over 40 years I am not shaving with a Norelco: not an easy decision. I just couldn't get the close shave I wanted. I took me a few days to learn how best to shave with the Braun. I get the closeness I want except under my chin (the Braun does a better job there than the Norelco did but still not quite as close as I would prefer). Doesn't cut that well at all.If
If you shave everyday and you don't have a really full beard, it will do the job. If you have a full beard, forget it. My beard is medium thickness and after 2 days growth it will not cut it. A disappointment to say the least. I have shaved with Braun for years.

Easy to use and gives a Great Close Shave.
Best Shaver I have had in a long time. Shaves real close and is really easy to use. Like the cleaning with the Smart Care Center. Smells Great too! Hope this shaver last a long time. Already bought a replacement shaving heard. May need in 18 months. I also plan to try the Essential refill product if I don't get enough time out of the Braun's cleaner. The cleaner is Great but I only got 26 days out of the one pack. Hope I would get almost 2 months. May try every other day to clean shaver. Great razor!
I had the braun series 8. It lasted over six years until the battery finally died. The series 8 is very expensive. So I chose to save some money and picked up this series 6. I cannot be happier, it save just as well as my series 8, but at 1/3 of the cost.
