    The Great HST!

    If you like Hunter S. Thompson, You'll LOVE this book! Its a collection of many of his articles and stories. For a long time I was just a fan Hunter because of "Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas" the movie, but once I started to buy the Gonzo Papers, I gained a whole new love and appreciation of Hunter's work. "Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas" is just one his brilliant and hilarious stories, there are so many others every bit as good. "The Great Shark Hunt" is one example, it too would make a great movie(in my opinion). So BUY THIS BOOK! It's a great collection. And if you like this one, there are many other books by H.S.T, guaranteed to give you your fix of the weird, rebellious, and just plain hilarious! Lets keep his memory alive and cursing!

    Another classic

    A classic work by the good Doctor. I like reading it at the same time as Fear and Loathing on the Campaign Trail, as many of the stories are if the same timeframe. The selection “Strange Rumblings in Aztlan” is particularly compelling, illustrating Dr. Thompson’s writing abilities in significant ways. It is also the real starting point for “Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas” begins…
