I had a question regarding the lightmeter, and they responded promptly- the next business day. Then I purchased the camera and they shipped it out the same day. The product arrived sooner than expected and was well-packaged. The physical condition of the camera is as pictured. I have yet to test the light meter functionality because I need to get a battery; however, everything appears to be in good shape. I 've bought from KEH Outlet before, and always had good service.

Unique lens for professionals and enthusiasts alike!

Very unique lens for sure. My main complaints are the price and the sharpness. This lenses has several sweet spots to achieve a good image: aperture, focal length, and framing. The lens isn't very sharp at f2.8, but not bad. The edges of the photos are all very soft and sometimes blurry, but you get that with pretty much any fisheye lens from my experience. And finally, focusing on a subject up close can be tricky! Too close, and you distort your subject too much, and too far away, and the subject is too soft. That being said, still one of my favorite lenses! A lot of fun and products extremely unique images! Just have to get used to it!!

    Not fishy enough,

My friend has fisheye lens for his Samsung. The image is warped in the middle and it creates interesting pictures. Nikon 10.5mm is technically fisheye, but the images are more like just wide angle with slightly warped edges. Maybe other people actually want this. I didn’t. I wanted fisheye lens.

  • Fisheye Fun: Nikon AF DX 10.5mm f/2.8G ED-IF Lens -

The Nikon AF DX 10.5mm f/2.8G ED-IF Lens is a professional grade fish-eye lens with an extra wide f/2.8 aperture that allows a lot of light to pass through the lens. Fisheye lenses are fun and create an unsual perspective that can best be described as looking through the peep hole on the front door of someone's home. Fisheye lenses exaggerate the distance between objects, and capture a nearly 180 degree scope of what you're shooting. So if someone is standing next to you they might be in the shot. Some people like to correct the distortions made by a fisheye lens, but that takes away from some of the fun. The odd perspective is what makes fisheye lenses so much fun. This particular fisheye will work on all Nikon DSLRs. If you are using a D40, D40x, or a D60 you will only have manual ...

  • Awesome Little Lens!

What can I say besides this lens is a little gem. Super small and compact with a 180 degree field of view. This super wide (fisheye) has the expected distortion, but that is the charm of this lens. The distortion is very easily corrected - see attached before and after correction image... It focuses within 2 inches of the front element - and can be super sharp from that close to infinity. I am a wedding photographer and always have this gem in my pocket. Five Stars.

  • Nikon DX 10.5mm Fisheye lens - very professional

The Nikon DX fisheye lens has awesome quality, but a bit pricey compared to Canon. I naturally like the feel of Nikon cameras over Canons. I used the 10.5mm fisheye on my Nikon D90 SLR. You can see tons of images taken with it on my media portfolio online at http://www.paulmeyer.biz If you have any questions email me. This is a great product for the money especially if you do stage or big party photographs to get full 180' degree shots.
