    Oldie but goodie

    I bought the kit used,some work getting certain parts to fit because they were a little warped,that’s ok, I managed to with some sanding and putty got things together just fine. This is a very old kit but everything is there and most of all the Decals were in great shape! No yellowing! As I wanted to add a North Vietnamese Mig 17 to my collection to keep the N. Vietnamese Mig 21s company. I decided to paint it in the bare metal finish to represent a Mig 17 from the early part of the Vietnam Air War (Operation Rolling Thunder) 1965-68.

    Heh Heh, It's ok

    Nice enough on the details but this Mig 17 is a little smaller than the Monogram- Revell kits. And those 1/48 scale birds are small enough as it is. On the plus side, this kit was much cheaper, but the decals were a small sheet of the bare essential markings. It had good fitment so I gave it three stars. not much else to say really. I'll never do another one. I hope this review was helpful.
