    Helps children understand enviro issues

    We bought the Animal Train VHS back in probably ’03 to take with us camping. My son LOVED it. He liked all the animals and the thought of taking them on a train adventure. However, it also introduced him to the fact that some animals are endangered and why. He watched it every night we camped for years and years, until the VCR ate the tape. I was so glad to find this on DVD, so now his little brother can watch it this year. This set came with another movie “The Bear”, which apparently is a famous cartoon itself. It was OK, kind of a strange story, but neat that you get 2 movies for the price of one.

    Raymond Briggs "The Bear/The Animal Train" 2 pack dvd

    Anything by Raymond Briggs is excellent! The music, story, and animation are unique and different. My kids also loved "The Animal Train" so this was an extra bonus! If you like this, "The Snowman" and "Father Chrismtas" by RB is even better! An instant Christmas must-have DVD!

    raymond brigg's the bear / the animal train dvd

    excellent dvd for little boys and girls. the animation was perfect for eyes of little ones. not too bold and not too light. its a good bedtime dvd. most animation dvd movies make a child more lively and want to play. this one helps with quiet time as i enjoy most as a grandma. i give this dvd a 100 %.
