    Great RPG for both beginners and veterans

    Just a great game. Manages to take all the fun elements of the Mario world and its characters and pairs them perfectly with a simple to understand but still compelling turn-based RPG battle system. I'd read that this was originally meant to be a sequel to Super Mario RPG for the SNES, but, as I've never really played that, I can't speak to how similar it really is. Nonetheless, if you grew up with that game but have never played Paper Mario, I'm sure you'll want to give it a chance.

    Part of the N64 'Greatest Hits'

    A must have game for any owner of an N64. The game took a new approach for Mario than his standard level by level journey. A compelling story awaits the player as they gather info and approach enemies by 'turn by turn' base attacks. The new style and world that was created for this game left it's mark as a Classic for both the Nintendo 64 and the Mario franchise itself.

    Well made, simple and light RPG with good dialog and clever graphics.

    Paper Mario is the spiritual successor to the absolutely amazing Super Mario RPG. This game was made by Intelligent Systems, the makers of the Fire Emblem series. This company makes a solid game, with lots of smart planning and perfect execution. That said, for RPGs, this game is...well it's certainly not BAD. In fact, for kids or for those who like a bit of an easier or more toned-down RPG, this game is absolutely perfect. Turn based battles with fun timing-based enhancements to attacks or defense make battles that much more interesting, which is good when battles become very frequent and otherwise repetitive. The brilliance of this game (this series, really) comes in it's design. Playing off the idea that everything in the world is made of paper allows for some clever graphical tricks ...

    Paper mario! N64

    Paper Mario for the Nintendo 64 Is a GREAT game! If you like RPG's and Mario games then this Is the game for you! It's a pretty solid RPG, If you a big fan of Super Mario: legend of the seven star's on the SNES then you will LOVE this title, It's basically part two of SM:LOTSS A++ game. Even though It's not a 100% RPG type gameplay, it's still worth to play It, for example In most RPG's you can change you're equipment but In this game all you get Is 3-4 upgrades for 2 weapons and no armor upgrades.....Whats the point to even get money then? But this game Is really GREAT! pretty simple BUY IT!
