Seller Notes: “Very rare vintage 1990's Sony micro HiFi system with compact disc and Minidisc! Comes with the ... “Very rare vintage 1990's Sony micro HiFi system with compact disc and Minidisc! Comes with the original remote control, user manual, and AM antenna. This unit is in fantastic condition with no dings, dents, or scratches. Looks to have been used very little. However, there are TWO issues with this machine. First, the LCD screen backlight does not work. The screen still works, it's just hard to see because it doesn't light up anymore. Also, the cassette player doesn't work. The tape tried to play, but it immediately switches directions. I believe the belt has disintegrated due to age and needs to be replaced if you want to use the tape player/recorder. The CD, MD, and Radio have all been fully tested and works as it should. For Minidisc users, take note this model is from the '90's so it will only play/record MDs in the SP format. The later MDLP discs will give an error if you try and play in this device. Will be shipped in the original carton with foam inserts. Made in Korea.”

Nice smaller system. Works and sounds great. Some of the newer options are smaller and probably sound just as good, but we enjoy being a little old school. I have a large CD collection and this unit is perfect for that. The remote is a handy touch. Oh yeah, I love the classic silver exterior-makes it look pretty classy in our Living Room. Got the manual free online which I would recommend to anyone buying one of these units.Nice smaller system. Works and sounds great. The Sony stereo is good...It came with all the attachments as described and arrived to its destination early. All is working ok. The only problem is with the AM radio reception. The antenna seems not to help that much.....I will check it out with a better antenna later on.
