About this product

Product Information

Electronic Arts spells out a straightforward electronic version of Hasbro's competitive crossword game, with a couple of updated extras for gamers on-the-go. The game's "Classic" mode presents the style of play that Scrabble fans will recognize, in which players take turns spelling words by organizing randomly drawn letter tiles into words on a grid. In the game's "Speed" mode, it's a race against the clock, as players compete to earn the most points as a timer ticks down. The new "Scrabble Slam" mode presents players with a handful of letter tiles and challenges them to spell as many four-letter words as they can with them. The 2009 edition of Scrabble for Nintendo DS offers multiple difficulty levels, a handy "word finder" function, and support for online multiplayer gaming.

If your looking for a seller who had retro games, looking for that game that got away and a seller who responds and will give you details about then this person is for you. I received fallout 3 and the packaging is good and inside you get a little thank you for your purchase and a sticker. They definitely have games for every retro console out there. So if there is a game you like or would like to know more. I would highly recommend this seller.

    Scrabble....very happy with this game!

I love the game Scrabble. This DS game is easy to play and is a lot of fun. I just wish the different colored squares would have the point value on them.

  • Scrabble DS Review

Really good Scrabble game. For anyone who has ever wanted to play Scrabble with family and friends and yet they refuse to play with you, this is the game for you. There are training mods to help you increase your vocabulary or to show you how to play or stack words. It is very fun and challenging playing with the AI. You can choose the level of your opponent or you can play a quick game that matches you with an opponent of your level. One con is that sometimes when you drag a tile it ends up somewhere totally different then where you wanted to place it. I find myself seeking tiles that have run away or placed themselves sometimes. All in all a great game and really fun. Another issue is the higher you get the opponents seem almost Godlike. The higher level AI gets a little too lucky w/ ...

  • Rare game worth the price!

I bought this after getting hooked on Scrabble on my smartphone. This version is very faithful to the original board game. Each word spelled also gives a dictionary definition of the word, which is helping my kids learn more words. The training area is excellent for boosting strategy. My cell version, also by Hasbro, does a better job showing non-words when letters run up against each other and don't create a word. I see this product advertised new on ebay for up to $80 - it's probably that good but a decent used game at half the price is the way to go.

  • LOVE !!!!!!!

I absolutely love playing Scrabble on my Nintendo. I spent hours a week on it and it brings me back to the early 1970s when I played against my mother as a young kid, losing every time but never losing hope ! I win a great deal of the time now. Patience is a virtue.
