Getting used to it
I've designated a fairly permanent location on my countertop for this and after maybe 2 weeks now and doing 80 to 90% of my cooking on it morning noon and night. Steaks have never been better. I can combine asparagus with the meat cook it all together, same with breakfast combined breakfast meat with eggs, I make pizzas on it using a Paleo rap type base. Substituting 4 stove top cooking and enjoying it. Clean up is easy, sometimes just heat and wipe for the next meal or so briefly in hot soapy water. Teflon surfaces work well. not very happy
had 1 before and it was about 6 years old so i bought a new one a little bigger but even letting this one heat up didn't get as hot as last one, even after allowing extra time for the bigger size, wish I would have kept my older one, this one even after giving it more time to heat up and use the sear mode it just dosen't head up enough . lesson learned

Nice indoor grill
So far so good. It opens up completely flat also. Separate temperatures for each plate that go up to 400 degrees and a sear button for each plate that will go up to 500 Degrees. Plates come off easy for cleanup and are reversible if you want the grilled look or you can use just the flat plate side. There's also an adjustment so if you think the weight of the top plate will crush what you're cooking you can use the adjustment guide to keep the weight of the top plate off the food by separating the top plate from the bottom.....different adjustment widths.So far so good. Very handy for retired couple
Compared this model with the smaller model (GR 4N) and decided to go with the larger cooking area. We feel the extra room makes the grill more versatile when cooking for 2 or more people. In the short time we've had the GR-150 it's been used for paninis'....chicken breasts....and pancakes. Results were excellent. Clean up was quick....no pans to wash. When warmer weather gets here I will try using it on the patio instead of firing up the gas grill just for the 2 of us. It would be great if there were waffle plates available...until then I'll have to settle for pancakes.!!Compared this model with the smaller model (GR 4N) and decided to go with the larger cooking area. This grill/griddle is awesome!!! I LOVE that it cooks for the top as well as the bottom, cutting your cooking time in half! Bacon is perfect, chicken breast are done in a snap. Cleanup is easy, I love that the plates are removable and that I can soak them in the sink or put them in the dishwasher. The controls are intuitive, nothing complicated to figure out. This is the perfect little machine to me; it doesn't take the place of a charcoaled steak, but it does everything else! I can't wait to try making a pizza!This grill/griddle is awesome!!!
