    Excellent Purchase

    I was in the market for a replacement of my 5 year old MacBook Air, when I found this item. I knew I wanted a step up in performance and screen size, so a 15" MacBook Pro seemed like a perfect fit. I watched the market for about a month to figure out which specs I wanted and what a good price would be for them. When I found this deal, I immediately recognized its great value and purchased it. My new laptop came in it's original packaging and partially charged so I could easily verify the specs. I proceeded to do a clean install of macOS, and have been using it for a few days now. This laptop is amazing and I have encountered no major issues with it at all. I am very satisfied with my purchase.

    Right MBP at the right time... BUT...

    Was advertised 100% working but had a battery issue. I ended up having it repaired by Apple, fortunately Apple waived most of the cost to do so. I ended up getting a new top case/battery for around $100. My time diagnosing and taking it to Apple was worth more than that, but the rMBP is solid now.

    Built for performance and professional grade use.

    Fast and top notch retina display, runs like a Mac book pro should with speed and grace. Turns on in less then 15 seconds just the right screen size and graphics card with ram for a artist like myself Adobe products work in a flash no lag once so ever is what I always use as a benchmark test the Adobe suite to see if it's up to the task, and this base model has it all for those wanting one for design, illustration, photography, or video production. All in all no matter what your profession or what you want to use it for its got your back. A mean machine at just under 2 grand.

    Much better than the 2017 Macbook Pros.

    For either the 13 or 15 inch Macbook Pro's Retina model, you literally get the same performance as these newer models nowadays. Yes, it might have higher specs but when you run tests on it, its just slightly faster, just a hairline faster. Plus, it will be way cheaper getting a really lightly used macbook pro retina vs around 2k for a 15 inch macbook pro.
