    My thermostat is a 2004 model and we will be replacing it today. any suggestions on a ritetemp model for 2022?

    Pro's - has been reliable for sometime but over the last year the programming is not holding. Changes temperature during the night. I followed the on-line programming instructions but we continue to see temp changes to the settings for no apparent reason. Negative - The one thing I wished was better from the start, is the lighting on the unit. very dark background and hard to see at night. Appears to have no backlight or very little.

    Be cautious

    Apparently these come with demo batteries in them. So since these are older thermostats the batteries that are in them have a tendency to leak and ruin the product. I’ve tried to buy 2 in the last month both had the same issue. They were junk ! But you can’t tell until you open the package and open the battery compartment.

    Ok product worth the money

    Works fine. Been setting for awhile because the batteries have leaked acid and melted some of rhe metal away that toucbes the battery. Kinda hard to get a connection but other rhen that works great.
