Sega's NHL 2K series moves from the Dreamcast to next-generation systems with NHL 2K3. The most notable addition is the option to play multiple seasons in Franchise Mode, where players can hire various scouts and coaches, conduct a fantasy draft, and manage rosters by signing free agents, releasing high-priced veterans, or trading for a young superstar. Players can also create their own likenesses with the Create-Player mode and assign ratings to a variety of skills. All NHL teams and players have been included from the 2001-2002 season, with home stadiums featuring animated crowds wearing team-specific jerseys.

    Go with the EA Sports NHL series instead!!!

    NHL 2K3 I've never been a fan of the 2K series of hockey games. They don't deliver the fast paced gameplay that I love. Here's my list of reasons why I dislike the 2K series: - Too easy to score - Gameplay not realistic - Players look like they're floating not skating - Unlockable teams only have numbers on jerseys not actual players - Controls are awkward and hard to get used to - Put in features that most people will find repulsive Final Verdict: 2/5 Rent or Buy?: As I said at the beginning, I've never been a fan of the 2K series of hockey games, if you're looking for a great Hockey game pick up a copy of NHL 06 for multiplayer and NHL 07 for Xbox 360 for overall play.
