Awesome product,quality of product are same as he mention.
My first experience of the PSP came when I went into a local shop to buy a replacement DS Lite after mine had died. A friend in the shop asked me why I wanted a DS when they were really aimed at the younger market and suggested that I might try a PSP instead. Having had no experience of them, I asked what they could do. It was a silly question and I should have saved time by asking what they couldn't do! In short, these things are awesome. My PSP is linked wirelessly to the internet. I watch movies on it, play music on it, play games on it, listen to internet radio on it - the list is endless. Suffice to say, every every member of the family now has one and just recently we have discovered an incredible game called Monster Hunter Freedom Unite, which we all have a copy of and can join ... I guess this speaks more highly about the game in some respects, but the underlying truth is that this is only possible thanks to the connectivity of the PSP's. Recently, one of my sons and my wife have updated their PSP's to the new PSP Go, which is clearly the next step in the evolution of the console and no doubt where we will all end up. On the plus side, the PSP Go no longer has a UMD Disc Drive and all media is downloaded to the built in hard drive instead. This means that everything becomes more compact, with no need to take a case full of discs everywhere. It also makes the loading time of games much quicker. On the downside, the screen is slightly smaller on the Go and the controls take some getting used to if you have played the 3000 for some time. That said, no matter which PSP you get, if you haven't had one before and you're prepared to take the time to get to know what it's capable of, you'll soon be amazed that you managed to live without one for so long. Be aware that they are known for breaking if handled too roughly, but parts are readily available, as are a host of peripheral accessories which allow you to customize and care for your unit. So, get one, look after it and it will reward you with countless hours of entertainment. Can't recommend them highly enough... Sony's finest hour by far.

A great product and a fabulous gift
I bought this product as a gift for my 11 year son. He has been absolutely thrilled with it and uses it most days. The product arrived fairly quickly and was well packaged. It was very easy to set up, I did this so it must of been very user friendly. My son has not found anything wrong with the loading and playing of his games. It is set up for the internet where he can download games from the playstation store. It compares favourably with other PSP devices and as Sony no longer makes this model which has been replaced by the inferior PSP E1000 - I beleive we had an excellent buy.I bought this product as a gift for my 11 year son. This Was A No Brainer...
My PSP 1003 had a cracked screen so I bought new one to replace it. Now usually I'm good at repairing just about anything but no joy this time. So yes I ended up with a new screen but I messed up the joypad which still pulls off to one side and the body of the PSP no longer sat flush like I did something wrong or forgot to screw something down properly of whatever. So I with all the titles I'd brought etc were just sitting there doing nothing. It hurt. So for a long time I was planning to buy a new one anyway because the PSP 3003 looked the business, is lighter etc. So I bought this a brand new white one which when I received through eBay turned out to be an old blue on in a tatty box. After that non-sense was resolved I bid on this piano black one with all the trimmings such ... My PSP 1003 had a cracked screen so I bought new one to replace it. The PSP when it came all all the extras had been well looked after so it was exactly what I wanted. I also had a av cable to component cable, a crystal case, a PSP carry bag, 4 UMD cases holding 5 each, 10 UMD games & 9 PSN games so I'm over the moon with my purchase. Especially since the PS Vita doesn't have any UND support in the UK that I'm aware of. I'm still however intending to pick up a PS Vita at a later date but I'm good for now.

Better used 3000 than a new E1000 cut down to meet a price target!
Brill for my 10 year old son, We had looked at a DSI 3ds but price for games and console prohibitive, also my son complained of headaches when he played on friends consoles. What was the point of of 3d if you had to turn it off!! I was not willing to pay, and He would not want to wait for the PSP Vita. There a load of second hand games for PSP available for £10 ish and the games available reflect more my sons age, he is no longer obsessed by Pokernom but by FFIA and driving games these play far better on the PSP due to it faster processor and better screen.
