About this product

Product Information

Sleuth Albert Campion (Peter Davison), who conceals his desire for danger under his naive appearance, takes up another case. This time it is the mirror image of a murder investigation when Campion attends the funeral of an old schoolyard buddy who may not be as dead as was originally thought. It does not seem coincidental that an ex-girlfriend happens to need Campion's sleuthing skills for a murder mystery of her own. A blast from the past for Campion makes for an interesting mystery for fans of the genre.

    Campion-The Case of the Late Pig

    Peter Davison is excellent as Mr. Campion, and Brian Glover as Lugg, I can imagine none better to play them unless the characters themselves stepped out of the book! Thought this one was pretty good ('Look to the Lady' was the best that I've seen), though thought that there was a bit of overdramatization in the wrong areas on the part of the director, and he kept throwing your attention toward the person he wants you to think is the murderer, when it clearly can't be that person. The acting is very good, though, and Margery Allingham's story carries through.

    great story line

    I like the actors and really like the parts and people they played in the story would rectamend this to watch
