    Great Director makes a MASTERPICE

    This is a film for the sophisticated viewer . Who else but Robert Altman make a western and transcend the genre . The casting is perfect and the brilliant manipulation of the cinematography is worthy of Criterion’s selection . If you just like the John Wayne approach find another selection .
