  • Old Guys Rule

I was 10 years old when I first saw a Buffalo in the form of a Revell model in the gift store on board the U.S.S. Lexington floating museum in Corpus Christi, Texas. I was immediately taken by this plane and the history behind it. There is no more well written and concise history than that penned by Mr. Jim Maas who has to have studied the Buffalo and the history of Brewster longer than any other author I am aware of. There are other books on the Buff that are newer and longer, but this book is the place where you begin to learn the whole story behind the F2A and make you realize why so many of the other books use "Buffalos in Action" as a reference.

  • Look else were if researching US NAVY

Was more interested in the U.S. Navy and Marines use of this aircraft ! Did refer to of countries using this plane. The information would have been a better Reference material if it had at least 50% booklet coverage on U.S. NAVY !
