    Running out of ideas?

    Let me just start off by writing that I really do love this series. They are pretty much the only books I BUY. (I'm a library kinda girl.) Having said that, I have to say I was kind of disappointed with this book!! Some of the staples that make the books great are there--Lula and grandma are as funny as ever--but even the secondary characters in this one were, in my opinion, flat and uninteresting. The typical two-cases-in-one-book element was there, as always, but they were not as suspenseful and developed as usual...they wrapped up too quickly and in a very dull way. One of the reasons I love these books IS that they are what I refer to as, "non-cerebral." They are light, easy reads that are perfect for breezing through while still being able to keep an eye on the kids. They are ...

    Finger Lickin' Fifteen

    OK, I reviewed this book too early. I gave up on Stephanie and on Janet. I really thought they had both disappointed me. Honestly, I could put the book down and totally forget about it. To me that means the book just isn't what I expected. Then I picked it up again. I had put the book down just pages from a scene that had me sitting in the bathroom because I was afraid I would pee my pants. The scene went on for at least a page, maybe two. It felt like I was in the bathroom forever! I had to put the book aside so I could catch my breath. . . at least 4 times! I honestly thought I was going to die laughing at one point. Ok so it starts slow. Be prepared for the biggest laugh in your life. And it's not the last laugh in the book! ---I know I'm not tired of the antics of ...

    I have been reading the series. This is the next one.

    This is light, fun reading. I have enjoyed every episode (novel) in this series. The author has a wonderful sense of humor and seems to do her homework about factual issues in the story. It is a good series and anyone can pick it up anywhere in the series. You do not have to have read the books in order to enjoy any individual book. I bought it on e-bay actually hoping for a paperback copy, but ended up with hard bound for a lower price than even the paperback would be new retail.

    Hysterical book! Great characters!

    This is one of the funniest books in the Stephanie Plum Series. I laughed so hard I wet my pants. (I know, TMI, but the truth!). Had to shut my windows so the neighbors didn't call the men with the white coats to come and "take me away". Ms. Evanovich surpassed herself with this book. If you need a good laugh, get this book!!!

    another great evanovich

    As in her previous works this book takes you to the very heights of comedic writing. I laughed out loud on numerous occasions while reading of Stephanie's and Lula's exploits. I can only imagine a dysfunctional family such as the Plum family; the comparisons to a 'real' family are way too close to deny they could exist.
