Nice little machine
This is a good DVD/VHS combo machine. The only thing that I don't like about it is it only has Repeat Title option it does not have a Repeat All option so if you put in a DVD that has multiple shows on it (like a TV series) you can not use the repeat feature or it will play the same episode again and again instead of repeating all episodes.

Nice, simple unit that plays tapes and DVDs. Older TVs need a tuner for it
This is our first purchase for this particular used/pre-owned brand and model DVD/VCR Combo unit. I bought this to play the many VHS tapes I have. I always buy three different units at a time to keep on hand for when one goes we have another one to slip in to use when one goes since they are all used units out there. It works as it should, although since it is no longer made and the ones now available for sale are used and/or refurbished don't expect to get too much use out of it. We were lucky to get one year's use out of it. This one is a newer and later model of VCR/DVD combo unit manufactured in March 2003 (which is what ours was labeled anyway.) As it is newer, it will not work with older TVs without purchasing a tuner to go with it which runs an extra $10.00 or so. Overall, a worthy ... Shipping was quite a bit delayed because of regional inclement weather at the time but when finally received, it is not a disappointing replacement for its 15 year older version of same brand that wore out. Not into high tech devices and not sure but hoping it can convert old VCRs to discs.

Magnavox DV225MG9 -- good price and ease of use!
I like the versatility and ease of use. It also has a nice appearance and a good remote. I bought it because it went for $30 with no other bidders, which I knew was a great deal. It does appear a little cheap in the construction department, but I have no plans to abuse it, so hopefully it will live up to the good Magnavox name and last a few years. If you can get one of these for less than half-retail, I highly recommend it for pure value.I like the versatility and ease of use. It also has a nice appearance and a good remote. I bought it because it went for $30 with no other bidders, which I knew was a great deal. It does appear a little cheap in the construction department, but I have no plans to abuse it, so hopefully it will live up to the good Magnavox name and last a few years.
