    It's a classic for good reason

    I've used my Pyrex coffee pot since I moved out on my own at age 18. If you want your coffee really quickly, they're probably not for you, but I have always loved the taste of my coffee from it. There's very little metal involved, so you get a nice clean taste.

    Makes great coffee!

    The only problem we have is that the grounds escape due to the metal stem not fitting as a glass one should. I don't believe that the metal one is original to the pot. Otherwise it makes great coffee.

    Wonderful a very useful

    This is a great product for making coffee or tea. I use mine for tea. put tea bags in basket and let water perk through bags until the strength you want, let it cool on stove. When you are ready to finish making your tea for ice tea, tea bags empty out nice and clean. There are no tea leaves to be bothered with. Love it.
