"Front Fender Tip Installation And Review"
Seems to fit my 2006 Sportster narrow fender well. It can be a little tricky getting it lines up properly with the two sided tape. I put the tape on the tip first and then applied it to the fender. I think it worked best that way. Make sure your temp is pretty warm during installation and the fender is very clean. Overall looks very good. I will have to see how it does when the riding season starts again.Seems to fit my 2006 Sportster narrow fender well. It can be a little tricky getting it lines up properly with the two sided tape. Overall good quality, but better check the fit beforehand
It´s a metal (zinc-aluminum alloy) part, not a cheap plastic.The double sided adhesive tape is a good quality and holds the trim in place securely. Too short time to evaluate but the chrome plating seems a good quality as well. Probably not all H-D narrow fenders are the same in front-end radius, so it didn´t fit 100% perfectly the fender lip shape of my 2016 Dyna Street Bob, I had to compromise the position a bit - only my concern as an installer, barely noticeable to bystanders.It´s a metal (zinc-aluminum alloy) part, not a cheap plastic.The double sided adhesive tape is a good quality and holds the trim in place securely. Just what I needed!
When I bought my '97 FXDS-convertible, it had a couple of nicks in the front fender tip. This fender tip not only covered the nicks, but it made the whole fender look "classy"! I highly recommend this product. It is applied with 2-sided tape that really holds well. It has seen 70MPH as well as water & soap and is still on there tightly. I give it my highest rating and it is worth every penny!

The item was a little expensive, I thought, considering I found several similar items for sale. That being said, I have always had a preference for Kuryakin, and the fender tips did not disappoint. The only complaint I have is that there was absolutely no information anywhere that would tell me the dimensions of them. Ultimately, I secured a promise from the seller that if the tip did not cover up the little chip in the fender that it could be returned. Honestly, I was a little nonplussed that no one had this information! It was also important because the bike was scheduled for a photo shoot and I wanted it to look wonderful, which (as it happens), it sure did.The item was a little expensive, I thought, considering I found several similar items for sale.
