Jamie Oliver Has Another Hit!
If you are a fan of Jamie Oliver's cooking, this is the book for you. The recipes are similar to his "20 Minute Meals", but may take a bit longer to prepare, and are well worth it. The chapters are each structured as a complete meal for 6-12 people, hence the book's title: "Together". The focus is on healthier eating, so the recipes stress using fresh meats, fruits and vegetables with small amounts of butter, cheese or yogurt for flavor. (In other words, don't look for recipes loaded with cream cheese, sour cream, or handfuls of grated Cheddar.) The recipes are fairly easy to scale back for anyone who is not cooking for a crowd and most are appealing to children. There is a chapter on cocktails and appetizers--great for starting off a dinner party, or for using on their own as a menu ... If you are a fan of Jamie Oliver's cooking, this is the book for you.
