      Good value, effective search, decent sound, quick response time

      Very quick response and more effective inquiries than Alexa I've heard and I believe it. It's taking some time to learn the appropriate phrases when requesting a certain genre or type of music but I think that's more of a learning thing on my part than the unit itself. I have not owned another smart speaker so I have nothing to compare it to howevet the speaker is average to good sounding in my opinion

      The Good The Bad The Ugly.

      This Speaker you will want to replace after getting it. The Amazon one has bass. The nest upgrade for the mini is really just going from 5v to 12v adapter. The only thing that keeps all 8 of these speakers in my house is that it has YouTube music and just google in general and Amazon does not. I do use my Amazon one for my desk local FM Stations via stream.

      Decent speaker, good device for smart home

      Good, decent bluetooth speaker. This device is my 1st go-around with voice command and smart home. For its price, it's well worth the $. Very easy setup. Many of the things that I used to pick up the iphone or ipad to do, I now "Hey, Google," like checking the weather, traffic, daily to-do list. The Nest Mini doesn't work with Apple Music, but works well as a bluetooth speaker. Google Home app is required. Google Home ecosystem is, I believe, still work in progress. And some of Nest products, like Nest Protect smoke/CO detector, is not connected to Google Home app. But hopefully, the Home ecosystem will get better. Overall, very happy with the Nest Mini.

      definitely a step up from the Home Mini

      Made a couple of improvements with this device. The sound is deeper richer and a tad louder. The plug is no longer a USB type connection into the device it's a straight plug which I do like. Definitely a great deal for the price I'm stoked!!

      It's small and easy to set up threw google home app.

      It's great! We use it for music and local radio stations. Did not set it up for google assistant, would be a help for someone who is not mobile in there home. Also if your are traveling you can control a homes electronic system. One feature I like is you can shut of the volume button for privacy.
