    The Yamaha RX-V757 Receiver I have found that speaker placement is the key to a successful installation of the RX-V757. I my case it was my center channel speaker, which was installed about 6 feet above the floor centered between the front left and right speakers. For some reason the YPAO equalization was bright and somewhat off queue. After several attempts to get the sound to sound somewhat real, I began to check the speaker set, distance, on other parameters. What I found is that the YPAO was thinking the center channel was a phantom speaker due to it placement half-way between the front left and right speakers. I lowered the center channel speaker to approximately 3 feet or just below the plain of the bottom of my Video Monitor. After doing that I re-ran Auto-setup and the unrealistic ...
