However, I think the seller lucked out on the packaging. The box came ripped in half and then taped back up. I’m truly surprised the product (golf club) was not broken.

Not quite an 8 out of 10 as they were described because the insoles were partially missing and what remained was curled up and separated from the sole. So another $20 to replace those. Shipping took a long time, due to the number of slow moving post office hubs - while not the sellers fault something to be aware of.
