    Cheap, reliable, easy to setup

    I bought this because I had to replace a motherboard with an integrated sas controller, also from LSI. The card installed easy, Automatically detected and setup by windows10 64 pro, no drivers needed. It detects all my 8 SAS drives even the latest drive, a 6 TB Seagate ST6000NM0105 with 4kn. I did a firmware and bios update. It also made it easy to migrate a raid I had on the old setup since both where LSI controllers. The performance is great, I get constant disk to disk speeds of 280-300 mbps and I can do multiple transfers at the same time from different disks without any significant loss in performance, so I really like this card.

    Cheap SAS controllers that work.

    I have two of these, they just work, been using them on two different pc's with no issues at all, compatible with everything I've plugged into them, I've got a total of 13 SAS drives, ranging from 4 to 8 TB. Stable, fast and yeah... They are great. The oldest one has been chugging along 24/7 for 5 years.
