    Nice radio

    It is hard to believe that you can get a radio this nice for such a small sum of money. It is a no frills radio indeed, but the sticks are nice, the case is nice thick stable feeling plastic and most of all - "It works!". I learned to fly long ago before computer radios, before even dual rates and servo reversing. I have no real need for any of the modern "Fiddly things" that these radio's feature and the last thing I want to do is have to sit down and read a manual. This radio totally fits the bill. Of course, it still has the basic features if you need them, but basically this is a get it, put in the batteries and it works radio. I use it as much already as my DX9 Black Edition. Since it is inexpensive, I don't mind handing it to the "Let me have a try" crowd that always seems to ...

    Is it entertaining ? NO, its overpriced.

    Not even a digital screen provided, 20th Century technology, that feels way too plastic & hollow. An additional & somewhat costly binding cable is required, making this transmitter more than its worth.

    I like it.

    I purchased this radio and cables after reviewing Spektrum's web site. It makes a great wireless trainer transmitter and with the cables becomes unlimited model memory. The combo, along with ebay discounts was a great deal.

    Spectrum DXe Transmitter

    Spectrum DXe Transmitter seems to be a most versatile transmitter. Unfortunately will need to purchase several cords to get it to connect with plane to upgrade programming. Disappointing I have to spend more money.

    need a bit of research to make use of full capabilities

    documentaiton of this device is not yet fully available. You have to research and programmed it, I able to bind it with blade 200srx using a blade 120s manual. It has a lot of capabilities but you have to find it yourself.
