    recommendation for bit

    Cutting surface on groove bit should be wider. Any offset in bit mandates a secondary operation to clean up uncut wood. Becomes very apparent if material is thicker than 3/4 inches thick. Quality of bit seems good, just too narrow

    two different size shafts

    the product does the job the groove bit needs to be a little wider. leaves a edge that has to be trimmed off and the tongue has to be adjusted when switching. If you are going to switching bits a lot get ready to do a lot of height adjustments
