    Well-made and functional - also works with Atari 2600.

    PROS: These Genesis extension cables work great, and are a great deal. They're solid, dependable, and don't cause any signal degradation. You can also attach them in series to get an even longer cable. BONUS: These also work with the original Atari 2600. The two machines used the same type of plug for their controllers, so these extension cables are 100% compatible with both systems. CONS: None. SUMMARY: These are a very good product, which I would 100% recommend to other gamers.

    Alot thinner than expected.

    When i purchased the item i thaught for the price it was a quality item. I saw similiar listed for half the price, but different packaging. Well the cords were really thin and look weird paired with the original controller cords. At first one didnt even work. I did get it to finally work after fixing bent flimsy contacts with some tweezers.

    Reduce wear and tear on your console

    I bought these to use with my Atari 2600. I am constantly changing out the joysticks for the paddles and vice versa. They feel solidly constructed, and now I don't have to worry about snapping the pins in the controller ports.

    Works great, good value

    This is a must have today. Back in my childhood I could sit on the floor in front of the TV and play Sega all day, but today with my back, I'd never get off the floor and the awful unrelenting pain stops me sleeping. These extenders allow me to keep the Genesis in it's location and the controller reach the couch so I can sit and play comfortably.

    Inexpensive

    I spent a lot of money to NOT buy more of these. Male pins get pushed in easily. Some controllers were hard to fit into the female end. They worked fine for splicing up, experimenting and making adapters, etc.
