I was only expecting to get the case and figured I could simply swap out the guts. As it turned out the replacement FOB came with all the electronic works anyway. Never the less, all I had a mind to do was swap out the guts.and be done with it. But as it tuned out the electronics to my original FOB had become damaged and I didn't notice till I tried to make the swap out. So keeping my fingers crossed, I used the new electronics that came with the new FOB and it worked like a charm and it was as easy as could be to program and worked the very first time I tried. So I got the new FOB for about $15.00 and the one I was looking at when I went to Auto Zone was $189.00. Talk about being pleasantly surprised! If there was a way to give 10 Stars for this product, I would! Getting something ... I was only expecting to get the case and figured I could simply swap out the guts. Unable to program to my Honda Odyssey
After watching multiple tutorials, I was still unable to program it to my Honda Odyssey. I have program 2 other remotes myself, but not this one. I was informed that it has to programmed by a Honda dealership (closest one is 30 miles from me) or by a locksmith (they want to charge me $50 to do it!!!)
