Amazing...how else do you describe Stevie!
I have to say being a musician for over 6 years now, I've seen many music concerts from some of the greatest musicians of my time (and before me time)...This concert tops them all! It was the most enjoyable music DVD I've ever watched. Once it started I couldn't leave my seat, and it's over 2 hours long! Stevie Wonder has always been a great inspiration to me, but to see him perform 31 songs and do it like only Stevie can was just amazing to me. And the band...oooh wee! Stevie Wonder - Live At Last
Stevie performs excellant with his incredable stage set. Not many have resources and talents of all the top musicians and vocalists. Dvd contains wonderful selection and order of songs. I would like to of heard more jammin and extended versions of songs like superstition and higher ground, but he did fit 31 songs in the set. As for the recording, you can tell it is not in a studio and the 5.1 surround is weak. Overall a good disk for any collection-Stevie performs excellant with his incredable stage set. Not many have resources and talents of all the top musicians and vocalists. Dvd contains wonderful selection and order of songs. I would like to of heard more jammin and extended versions of songs like superstition and higher ground, but he did fit 31 songs in the set. This is a great concert DVD!
I own a lot of concert DVDs and this one is is definitely one of the best. The sound and visual quality of this blu-ray really helps to raise the bar, but the performance is what really counts. This one was really worth the money. It made the hair stand up on the back of my neck. When it was over I felt like I had actually gone to the show.
