    Great Forearm!

This is a great design! It makes pumping my Crosman 1377 very easy. It is easy to grip, unlike the stock forearm, which is terrible. This forearm fits perfectly and includes screws to attach it. I used gun stock finish because I had some on hand but any waterproof finish will work. It is a beautiful piece of wood.

  • Fatty Forearm

This piece is cut very precisely and required light sandpaper, steel wool, stain and tru oil. The finished product is full of beautiful grains and more functional than the stock forearm. I took a week to let coats dry well in 80° weather between every coat of finishing. 4 coats walnut stain, 8 coats tru oil.

  • this and a steel breach are 100% needed upgrades

I used this on a 13xx crosman to replace the original pump handle that pinches fingers and is awkward after 5 pumps. For being "walnut" the wood is soft, I can indent it easily with a fingernail even after staining and poly coating, You will need a dremel to trim back areas to make it function properly but that was expected on a 13xx model. This handle design is ten times more comfortable than using the original , no pinched fingers and wrist strain experienced and what crosman needs to address as a design flaw. For the cost this wood should be rock hard not soft like pine, the grain in this wood is not fine and produces rough lines even after sanding and sealing. last topic that is a pro is the front of the handle has a nice raised edge to allow the device to sit on if pistol grips are ...

  • Great option for Crosman 13xx fans.

One of the great tragedies to befall Crosman 13xx series lovers in recent years was the discontiuation of the factory plastic Backpacker forend, which makes the guns so much more comfortable to pump and handle. Now we have a great quality replacement! These require only very minimal sanding before finishing. You can finish in satin or matte black paint to match the look of the old plastic ones or just use some stain or oil to bring out the grain of the wood. I have a Blue Fork end cap on the pump tube of one of my guns, which is a little longer than stock, so I had to open up the end of the forend a bit with a rasp and sandpaper to fit; however no woodwork is needed to make these fit a stock gun like a glove. On a stock gun, just lightly sand, finish, and install. Great product!

  • Attractive Upgrade Over Plastic

Outside required very little sanding to look decent. Did take a while to line up holes in the metal with holes in the wood. I used screws made from longer 8-32's to extend almost all the way through the wood. I also ran a tap through the wood as far as possible to make the screw more secure.
