Items arrived early, in original packaging, shipping was a little pricey, but I guess that's part of it these days... These staffs are shorter than my originals so if you have anything larger than a 6" x 9" flag they won't work, comes with a 6x9 American flag but I use a 10" x 15". My USMC and POW flags are 6x9 so I can use these new ones to flank the taller pole with the American flag in the center. Diamond Plate is the best, but I recommend replacing all the screws with hardened ones.

    Nice Chrom finish

    I was a little disappointed by how loose the flag pole part is when locked in upright position, that causes the flag pole to rock back and forth so that it will wear out the lock pin of which is to small for the hole size, it needs a larger lock pin or smaller hole. I was also missing a spring washer of which is designed to keep the flag pole tight to the base unit, I solved it with a fiber washer and some lock tight on the screws so they cant back out do to the back and forth of the loose flag pole. All of this sounds like this is not a very good product, but with the above taken care of it will be even better, but will cost a little more as it is a bargain compared to the others for sale.

    Junk

    I bought 2. Both were junk. 1 the flag ripped and flew off with in the first 80 miles. Screws stripped out on one. And the pole came apart on the second one. I used lock tight on all screws. Messaged the seller about the problem, they said it's been more that 30 days. The add says limited lifetime warranty. I guess life time means 30 days? Do Not Buy

    Great....but....

    Seems as if the quality and finish are very high, was very surprised at the fact of needing tools to fold the mast (others fold without having to loosen) and after locktighting the fastners here they might never be folded. Hoping the metal used here is good quality to prevent corrosion but only time will tell.

    Pole MC Luggage Mount

    Had this flag pole mounted by our Harley mechanic to insure proper installation. Our first ride out and an hour in a gentleman followed us in to a gas station and handed us the pole that the flag was on. It had broken off at the folding joint. I would not recommend this pole for any motorcycle luggage rack. It is not stable and I should have went with the reviews that I had read against it. Lesson learned, you get what you pay for.

    It's very good value

    Just one thing. There is a button on it so it can be folded down. Good idea but the catch is if you tighten the screw it won't fold. If you loosen it just a tiny bit you'll lose the poke and half the bracket like I did. So I had to buy another.
