Genuine Graph Tech Black TUSQ XL Nut Slotted 6 String PT-6115-00: First time installing a nut. I had to use a flat surface and sandpaper and the project turned out great. My Epiphone Special has never felt better to play. I can't say if it helps it stay in tune because I also added a locking apparatus behind the nut. I might get one of these for my Strat style and see if it helps. I like the look and the product shipping was pretty fast.

WOW. JUST WOW.
After installing this and the traditional Black Tusq bridge pins on my Washburn Rover, it came ALIVE. I cannot begin to describe the feeling and sound since doing that. I installed the Black Tusq bridge saddle a couple of days later and the whole combo is just incredible. It didn't take very long to sand them down to the proper fit and well worth the hour or so I spent doing that on them. They look great, too. I was getting tired of the same boring cream colored parts and these hit the spot. The string spacing was totally off from the factory nut on this guitar, but I just kinda went with it to feel it out and honestly, the spacing worked out better on this neck with the Black Tusq nut LOL, so that was an added benefit.
