    Good solution for an older MacBook Pro

    Good solution if you have an older Macbook that needs a replacement or slight upgrade. Prices have come down considerably on these used Apple brand SSDs from what they were a couple of years ago. While going with a brand new NVMe drive and adapter, might be what you need if you want a really large (2TB) storage, using one of the older drives (in good shape) is really less of a hassle when it comes to upgrading MacOS. Even though it's not an NVMe, I am getting very good benchmark numbers on this "old" drive.

    Good item, and quality!

    The item got here fast. I installed it and it was not so much of play and plug. I had to reformat the drive, and then started the installation of the new OS... but rather than that is working. The computer is getting hotter and I think the issue may not be related. Maybe the age of the lop top. Good item overall, and good quality!

    Perfect OEM

    Bought for my 2015 MacBook Pro 13”, easy to swap out. Did a restore from time machine backup and it was super simple. My system info shows this is an actual Apple drive and not a knock off. Super happy with the purchase.

    Stick with the Apple SSDs (Samsung)!

    I recommend actual Apple SSDs, having had problems with third-party vendors' products (OWC, four tries, varying success). Despite being used, I have found the original Apple SSDs to be the more reliable solution.

    I am so glad I made this upgrade. My 256GB Macbook Pro was starting to run out of space and I wasn't ready to buy a new computer yet. And since this was a genuine Apple part so it went in without a hitch. Highly recommended!
