    Elm Creek Quilts

    I bought this book because I have read the novels and thought that it would be fun to have the patterns for the quilts. I am a novice quilter and so I plan to make the sampler quilt that is featured for my first project. As it turns out, the process is more difficult than I imagined (it seems easy when you read about other people doing it). The patterns and instructions in the book are great. It is my talent that seems to be lacking. I like the book because I can see what the quilts look like that they talk about in the novels. This was a great price for the book.

    Elm Creek Quilts

    This is a lovely quilting book that goes beautifully with Jennifer Chiaverini's novels. The illustrations are lovely and the instructions to make the quilts are detailed and clear enough to make a very nice heirloom quilt. There is nothing that I dislike about the book. I bought it because I like the Elm Creek novel series and was told about the pattern book that corresponded to the quilts in the novels.
