The quality was superb and I'm happy to have a blu ray player in my pc. It's getting harder an harder to find new blu ray disc drives these days. Bought in April of 2025.
- *****- Feedback left by buyer.Past yearVerified purchaseDrive arrived quickly. Some observations on the model I rec'd: Its DVD Region was set by default to R2 (UK). I reset it to R1 (USA). This particular drive's config is probably old - it handles older blank media better than the more recent media. Had no issues with pre-recorded/commercial CD-A, DVD, or BluRay discs. DVD-RW is problematic. DVD+RW fares better. Older Type 1 BD-RE works but newer BD-REs didn't. Blank fresh RW discs need formatting on a different drive before use on this unit.

One handle was partly charged but the other handle had zero charge and showed no evidence of electrical “life” after an hour on the charger, so I assumed the handle was defective. I sent a message to the seller, who advised keeping the handle on the charger for 24 hours before concluding there was a problem. The seller was right—it took several hours for any of the charging lights to light up but it did fully charge. A+ seller!
