The lights arrived with 5 of the bulbs already broken. Luckily it also came with spares so I'm good for now. The lights are as a soft as I imagined they'd be. However, the blues do no stand out very much. They blend in with the pinks, reds, and oranges and those are the truly dominant colors of this set. It'd be nice if they had other blues, perhaps darker that would stand out better but that aside, they're very very nice.
