Product Information

Microsoft's Kinect Joy Ride is one of the first retail releases for Xbox 360 to use the Kinect hands-free accessory system. The kart-style racing game is played through a controller-free interface that can sense motion, detect gestures, and pick up spoken commands. Virtual drivers steer and make their cars jump and slide by leaning, hopping, and twisting their bodies in front of the Kinect three-dimensional sensor device. A cooperative "Co-pilot" mode allows players to race as a team, and online competition for up to eight is available through Xbox Live. The exaggerated-action racing takes place through six powered-up courses in three themed worlds.

My son got joy ride as a gift. He put it in the Xbox and didn't wanna stop playing. He loves the game.. My husband and I even played. Joy ride is a lot of fun for the family.

Fun twisting, turning and pushing game for the entire family!
Funny game!! Yes, it's a lot of fun and very competitive but the best word to describe it is funny! The whole family laughs like crazy! We bought it because we got the new Kinect for Christmas and needed games. This game was cheap so we grabbed it! To our utter surprise, it is now our favorite game and it's the first one the teenagers go for when friends come over. There are so many great parts to the game: there are tons of levels, some we haven't even gotten to yet; you can play alone or with friends; the upper body "exercise" is incredible with the bending and twisting to make your car flip and turn and watching others play just makes you laugh! We've only played about 6 games since our system is new but so far this game seems to have the most levels and the most challenges.Funny game!! Pure Family Fun
The graphics are great and the kinect motion sensor keeps you on track with the game. It is a great way for me to exercise because you really have to get off the couch and get in to the game. My grandson enjoys it but I think his mom and grandma loved it a lot more. This is a game the whole family can enjoy and a great choice.

Great family game
This is a great family game worth the money, my 13 year old son likes it and my 4 year old niece has fun as well even watching us play the game. It does get you tired because you have to jump, move and lean so it is not just a couch potato game.
