This is a DVD-Audio disc. The DVD-Audio content can only be read by a DVD-Audio player. The Dolby Digital 5.1 and DTS audio tracks provided on this disc will play on a standard DVD player.Although SAY YOU WILL is Fleetwood Mac's first album without longtime singer/songwriter/keyboardist Christine McVie as a full participant (she appears only as a guest musician), the album nevertheless harks back to the frothy sound of 1982's MIRAGE, if not the '70s L.A. studio-pop glory of RUMOURS. Singer-guitarist Lindsay Buckingham's production still boasts pleasing quirks aplenty ("Red Rover," "Murrow Turning Over in His Grave"), and his trademark acoustic fingerpicking licks underpin many of the tunes in a winning way. Buckingham and Stevie Nicks share the songwriting duties, and their writing and singing styles still mesh as well as they did in their pre-Mac days as Buckingham/Nicks.     Skip the Surround Mix

    Disappointing surround sound mix. It's actually better to put it on the stereo mix and then use the faux surround from my receiver. The sound is clean to the point of sterile. This is one of the few albums where I've enjoyed the standard stereo CD more.

    Fleetwood Mac with special guests Christine McVie & Sheryl Crow can't miss.

    From what I can tell, this is one of the few albums that was created during the DVD Audio era especially for the DVD Audio format. My read is that the band (especially Lindsey Buckingham) really put forth their best effort. It paid off. This is a good album on cd. This is a great album on DVD Audio. My hat is off to the producer and everyone else who had anything to do with the fact that this album makes you feel like you are swimming in music and emotion.
