Jam-packed with fighting sequences, and with music by the Prague Symphony Orchestra, KARAS: THE PROPHECY takes place in a fictional version of Tokyo, where humans and demons coexist. As the city's guardian, it is Karas's responsibility to keep all these different forces in balance, a task that proves manageable enough until the power-hungry Eko intervenes at all of Tokyo's expense.

    Karas: The Prophecy

    One of the most electrocolored action/demon killer anime movies I have ever seen! The marriage of the 2D and 3D technologies is just stupifying. I would Love to see this on the big screen or with a huge blue-ray/ Liquid crystal set up. The story blends hints of H.P. Lovecraft's blood hungry inter-dimensional demons (Cthlulu, Dunwich Horror), Myatzakis Duel World/Spirit City landscapes (Spirited Away), and The hero worship/human avenger action of Inuyasha. An absolute must for the techno dreamcolor anime freak!

    Stunning visuals

    This is just as described on the summary. The action is non stop. The visuals are absolutely stunning and breathtaking at times. Some things could have been better explained in this movie, like what was the other Yurine and her Karas doing in that city and some better background information on some of the characters would have been helpful. Other than that I would highly recommend this to any amine fans. I would also recommend getting the second movie, Revelations, to have on hand to watch right after.

    This Is Good.

    This is a good watch. I was blown away with the animation. The English dub is actually decent. Karas features the voice talents of: Jay Hernandez, Matthew Lillard and Piper Perabo. If you get the Special edition version. You will get an exclusive Vol 1 of the comic.

    Visually Amazing.

    Karas: The Prophecy is a Visual Masterpiece and it is part 1 in which part 2 is Karas: The Revelation. It will make your eyes say WOW. Karas: The Prophecy is like food for the Eyes, Ears and Senses. This is a Must see and I wish they made Animation like this in the United States of America. This Anime is Excellent Visually and in Action!
