This 12v battery layout is become very popular with the main difference by being the orientation of the clips that join it to the body. It may differ for you but I found if mounted so the batteries were held horizontally the tolerances were sufficient to hold one of the new 10.8v 4ah (12v 3ah in reality, just a branding thing) Sealey batteries in place even though it wouldn't clip in.
