    A step up in quality!

    There is a little play in the coupling between my lens and the adapter, more than I'd like, but not enough to worry me. I haven't had any issues with this adapter unlatching despite quite a bit of use. The finish is good, the machining seems professional. This was the second of two purchases of this adapter. The first was a complete disappointment. I purchased one of the Electronic Lens Adapter brand for my Olympus M5 II so that I could use the zooms that came with my 4/3 camera. The lenses would not auto focus and I could not lock the lenses into place. It turned out that the cheaply made adapter was improperly machined and so was incapable of locking onto the camera or matching the contacts that would allow the camera to control the lenses.     Works well enough.

    The mount tolerance is looser than I'd like, so 4/3 lens feels a bit sloppy on mft. Will occasionally disconnect, requiring re-mount if twisted too far, like when zooming. The actual metal mount appears to be soft, so when I fumbled with it in the dark, it left chips on my sensor. Can't rate the quality of the connection, because no point of comparison. Seems fine. Usable overall. 4 stars given the savings over original, 2-3 stars on its own merits.
