The doubled up portion of the hat comes up pretty high which i like. This hat is not a blaze orange. Its an average orange color. The digital picture of it renders the color to be more vibrant than it actually is. If you're hunting and wearing a blaze orange vest then the lack of fluorescence in this hat probably won't matter much. If youre going on an expedition and need an airplane to be able to spot this hat from the longest distance possible, this probably isnt the hat for you.
