Install according to instructions and you will have a satisfactory result. i.e. ....wait 24 hrs before shooting to ensure proper adhesion... Unlike some reviews LOL. Accuracy is first and foremost... A quieter bow is the second most importance. Faster is not better if it's louder. Excalibur crossbows are the model for , simple is better. Accuracy every time. Less moving parts, less failures! Noticeable difference- an excellent upgrade.
Excellent product! Definitely makes a difference in the crossbow's sound signature. Changes from a harsh metalic bang-twang to more of a dull thud. Most noticeable results are with crossbows that have dissipater bars as well as string stops. Major issue that I've encountered is with the string stars wanting to move with each shot. Consider having them served- tied in place by a pro shop to prevent further movement. Installation isn't too difficult, you will need a 5/32 allen wrench to change the foot stirup as well as a means to remove and restring the crossbow in order to install the string stars and the limb dampeners. This was installed on a wide limb Equinox, Very satisfied and planning on purchasing another to install on an older model Exomax.Excellent product!
